Our father, Bill Kennedy, was a registered pharmacist working with animal-health preparations when he developed the cream that became Udderly Smooth. Farmers discovered that the same cream used around the dairy also helped soften and smooth their own hardworking hands.

Before long, people were keeping one container in the barn and another in the house. What began as a practical solution grew into the unmistakable black-and-white skin-care brand families have passed along for generations.

Dad blended the early moisturizers for our family’s own use. Today, three generations of the Kennedy family continue manufacturing Udderly Smooth in Salem, Ohio and sharing it with families throughout Canada and around the world.
